I love being a mom (at least most days), but it is a lot harder than I ever imagined. Through it all–the cleaning, making meals, grocery shopping, being a taxi driver and a referee I really try to show my kids that I love them. I do love them and there is not doubt about...

speaking different languages
- I SO needed to read that post. That is my little Kaylea to a "t." Thanks for the idea...I will be giving her a picture soon now. You're right it's all about the different love languages...I could be exhausted at the end of the day doing "stuff" for her but I need to do it in her own language. Oh little girls are the cutest...Thanks again.
- Sweet little Brooklyn! I love her so much! Be reassured Jodi that you are the best mom!!!! You are the PERFECT mom for Brooklyn. How much you read and try to understand your children and help them speaks volumes about you. Believe in yourself! I know I believe in you!
- I love the 5 Love Languages Book. It explains a lot. What a sweet girl. And you are such a good mom!
my little know it all
A recent conversation between me and Brooklyn:

But it is time and they were both starting to get a little bored being with just mom, especially my social butterfly...
- Awww! Those pictures are too cute! Briggy with his thumb makes me want to get him and hold him. He definitely has my heart! Brooklyn looks too grown up.... love that outfit! I may have to come hold these cute kiddos today. Love them all!
This is the Life
I absolutely loved watching the kids on the beach. They all had so much fun. Brooklyn loved playing in the waves and sand with her cousins. She definitely is my “California Girl” with her messy blonde hair and wetsuit. She loved roaming the condo and acting like a teenager. She was given the nickname “preteen”...
Birch Aquarium
While we were in California we headed to the Birch Aquarium near San Diego. The kids loved all of the fish and Troy and I loved watching how excited the kids were to see everything. I love this picture of my boys! Brigham is such a daddy’s boy and always wants to be right by...
- I want to go back! I absolutely loved our time at the beach! I loved holding Talmage and him wanting to touch all the sea creatures. I was in shock by how much he loved the water and wanted to be big. He is growing up WAY too fast. I love love love that picture of Troy and Brigham! Must go on a wall! Amazing vacation!
