Man has it been a morning. A morning filled with yelling, saying “no” at least 100 times to the same question, frustration and guilt. A morning that has left me drained and exhausted. A morning that I am not proud of. So while I was eating lunch I decided that I was going to download...

Best Day Ever
Saturday was an incredible day and one that will never be forgotten. It was a day that I had been dreaming of since the moment we found out that we would be adopting Talmage. I have been so excited to enter the Temple once again with my sweet family to be sealed for time and...
- Thanks for sharing and congrats again!! What a wonderful day!
- It was one of the most special days of my life. Thank you for letting me be apart of your special day. Thanks for sharing the sweet gift of your children with me. They are such blessings in my life, as well! I love all three of them and being with them was such a blessing.
- Jodi, I absolutely think the world of you and am sooooo happy for your sweet family! You seriously should have let me come take pics of you WITH your family... you've got to be in some of the pics for heaven sake! Oh, and did the Steph tell you I was actually at the temple the same day/time as your sealing... I had a friend who was getting sealed to their little baby boy, too... Congrats!!
- ...this made me all teary-eyed. They look so heavenly! Congrats on your special day. :)
So the other night Brigham was once again in bed with us. At about 2:00 in the morning he rolls off of our bed and proceeds to cry for minute or so, but we just thought he was startled from the fall so Troy just put him back in bed with us and we all...
It’s Official
Well, Talmage is now an “official” Davis as of last Wednesday when we went to court. He has always been my little guy, no doubt about it. Court was just a technicality but one that I am very thankful for. Talmage was a hoot in court. He was so noisy saying, “da-da, da-da, da-da….” and...
- CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!
- I can't imagine any of our lives without Talmage. That little boy is such a little Davis. He was born of your heart and is so yours. I love his smile, his emerging personality and sweet little spirit. He is such a tender mercy and gift! I love him to pieces.
- im lucky to have found u guys to be his parents
Camping with Grandma and Papa
A few weeks back we had the privilege of heading to Sedona with some of my kids favorite people–Grandma Starr and Papa–for a weekend full of fun and relaxation. It was awesome and exactly what all of us needed. Brooklyn and Brigham loved that they had Grandma and Papa all to themselves and didn’t have...
- Jodi, this post made me cry. I love the pictures of the kids with their grandparents. I love more the honesty you shared about those tender mom moments. I wish so badly for you that you didn't have to deal with them being so infrequent. You are such a great mom. No one in this world knows that better than me. You have a gift. A knack at what to do and how to do it. Maybe that is the compensation the Lord gave you for not having a constant mother around to influence you. You come by it so naturally. You make it look so effortless although I KNOW how hard you try and pray for guidance. I also know that in those moments, mom is there quietly directing and guiding you. She is close by when you need her. Rest assured in that knowledge. I love you so very much! You are the greatest sister that I could have ever been blessed with and the greatest mom that I know.
